Hudson Oaks City News

2009 Water Quality Report Now Available

The 2009 Water Quality Report was distributed to all water customers with the June 2010 billing. This annual publication provides information about the quality of the City's water in the prior year. This year's report was distributed in a new format, which the City hopes will make the report more visually appealing and easier to read.

You're invited to see a copy of the report by following the link below. If you have questions about the City's water system, call 682-229-2400.

Consider being a Commissioner

Are you a resident of Hudson Oaks looking for ways to volunteer in your community?  Are you interested in helping ensure that future development within the city fits the community?  If so, then the City of Hudson Oaks has the perfect opportunity for you.

It is that time of year when the City Council considers applications for boards and commission members, and a new Planning and Zoning Commission member is needed.  So, if you are interested in applying to be a P&Z Commissioner, contact the city secretary at 682-229-2425 today and find out how to apply.

Motorist Advisory - Click It or Ticket Begins This Week

To protect local lives, the Hudson Oaks Police Department will join together with law enforcement officers, highway safety officials and safety advocates across the country in support of the 2010 Click It or Ticket mobilization. During the May 18–June 1, 2010 campaign, any motorists traveling in Hudson Oaks can expect to receive tickets, not warnings, if officers find them out on the roads unbuckled. Moreover, motorists can also expect that The Hudson Oaks Police Department will be out in force — both day and night.

For more information about this annual campaign and why the Hudson Oaks Police Department is participating, follow the link below to the full news release and see some interesting information about who is and isn't buckling up.
