In addition to vacation and sick time, each employee is provided 16 hours of personal time, which is accrued on January 1 of each year.
Insurance
Employer provided medical and dental insurance benefits are also part of our comprehensive benefit package. Additional Dental, Vision, Life and other health insurance options are available at the employee's expense. Employees may also choose to enroll their family members in the City's group plan.
Retirement
The City of Hudson Oaks participates in the Texas Municipal Retirement System (TMRS). The City matches 7% employee contributions 2 to 1. Employees are vested after 5 (five) years, and can retire at age 60, or at any age after 20 years of qualified service.
