The City Council met on April 24, 2007 to consider and take action on the following items:
Request for General Commercial Zoning
The City Council approved a request by Robert Beall to zone an 83.466 acre tract of land located on the C.J. Eddleman Survey.
Request for Voluntary Annexation of an 83.466 Acre Tract
Council approved a request by Robert Beall to annex an 83.466 acre tract of land located on the C.J. Eddleman Survey. The property fronts the Interstate 20 access road past Newell Drive on the south western sector of the city.
Devon Energy Variance Request
At the March Council meeting Staff was directed to communicate a list of additional requirements for the drilling of the Hedrick-Coates well. Staff reported to Council the additional requirements that Devon Energy had agreed to; please click the link to read the additional requirements agreed to by Devon Energy. Council approved the variance request by a vote of 3-1.
Devon Energy Gas Well Drilling Permit Request
Devon Energy submitted a gas well drilling permit for the Hedrick-Coates #1H Well site. To view the Devon Energy permit application please click the link. Council approved the gas well drilling permit by a vote of 3-1.
Hudson Oaks Official Newspaper of Record
The City Council approved making the Community News the official newspaper of record for the City of Hudson Oaks and setting the Weatherford Democrat as the alternative paper for notifications and postings.
Residential Sewer Rate
Staff presented to Council the current rate structure for all sewer customers in the City of Hudson Oaks and proposed the establishment of a residential sewer rate. The proposal was to reduce sewer rates for residential customers from $11.40 per 1,000 gallons used to $4.78 per 1,000 gallons used and to keep the base rate at $18.00 per month. Council approved the establishment of a residential sewer rate by a vote of 4-0.
Parker County Utility District Board Appointments
The City Council appointed Kelly Carta, Jim Marsh, and David Vestal to the Parker County Utility District Board.
