INSURANCE

Employer provided medical and dental insurance benefits are also part of the City of Hudson Oaks comprehensive benefit package. Additional Dental, Vision, Life and other health insurance options are available at the employee's expense.

Employees may also choose to enroll their family members in the City's group plan

* Depending on one's personal religous preference, a day of vacation maybe taken in place of Good Friday, provided that this is coordinated with one's supervisor ahead of time.

 

TEXAS MUNICIPAL RETIREMENT SYSTEM

The City of Hudson Oaks participates in the Texas Municipal Retirement System. The City matches  5% employee contributions 2 to 1. Employees are vested after five (5) years, and can retire at age 60, or at any age after 20 years of qualified service.

 

TUITION REIMBURSEMENT PROGRAM

Hudson Oaks strives to be an active partner in the continuing improvement of our employees, as such we are proud to offer a tuition reimbursement program. The City of Hudson Oaks will reimburse an employee 50% of tuition and fees for up to 12 hours of college coursework. The employee must earn an "A" or a "B" for the course and must be enrolled in the tuition reimbursment program prior to course enrollment. Reimbursement is paid based on state tuition and fee rates.

 

HEALTH REIMBURSEMENT AGREEMENT

The City of Hudson Oaks participates in an employer provided Health Reimbursement Agreement plan. The HRA is a powerful benefit that is an integral component to a truly exceptional benefits package.

 

DEFERRED COMPENSATION

The City of Hudson Oaks offers a supplemental retirement option that is fully employee funded. Employees can enroll at any time.
