In May of 2007, Councilmember Paula Wigley was elected to Place 5 of the Hudson Oaks City Council.
She graduated from Southwest High School in Fort Worth in 1981. After receiving a Bachelor of Business Administration in Economics and Finance from Texas Wesleyan University, she spent fourteen years in the private sector working for companies such as General Dynamics, Rediffusion Flight Simulation, Inc. and GTE. She is now a small business owner and has been for six years.
Paula has been married to her husband, John Wigley, a native of Cooper Texas, for twenty years. Like many people in the area, he works at Lockheed Martin in Business Management assigned to the F-35 program. She has two sons, one who is a sophomore at Aledo High School and the other who is in the 7th grade at Aledo Middle School. The Wigley family has lived in Hudson Oaks for almost thirteen years.

Councilmember Dan David joined the City Council in May of 2007, filling an unexpired term for Place 3.

Dan was born and raised in East Texas and is proud to be a fifth generation Texan. After receiving a Bachelor of Science from Stephen F. Austin State University in 1969, he enrolled in the United States Air Force.

Dan served as a pilot in the Air Force and even flew in the U-2 program. While in the military, he received a Master of Public Administration from Golden Gate University. He retired as a Lieutenant Colonel in 1989 and joined American Airlines as a pilot. During his time at American he was able to fly all over the world and see many interesting places. During his tenure, he rose to the rank of captain. In 2005, Dan retired from American Airlines.
Dan has lived in Hudson Oaks since 1991 with his wife Carolyn. Dan and Carolyn have been married for 37 years and have one daughter, Nicole, who lives with her husband in Dallas.

Elected in May 2011, Brian Lixey is the newest member of the Hudson Oaks City Council. A resident of Hudson Oaks for five years, he serves in the corporate banking field for BBVA Compass, a company he has been a part of since 2002.

Mr. Lixey has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Mary Hardin Baylor and a Master of Business Administration degree from Tarleton State University. He is actively involved with a number of civic and service organizations and has served on the boards for several of them, including: United Way of Parker County, the Child Study Center of Fort Worth, the Texas Sport Hall of Fame, Texas Neighborhood Services, and the Ben Hogan Foundation Fundraising Committee.

Tom Marquardt was elected as City Council Member, Place 1 in May 2006.

Tom was born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas. He graduated from Texas A&M University in 1985, with a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering. He later graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington in 1993, with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.

Tom has an impressive twenty two years experience in the Engineering field. He worked over ten years for the Texas Department of Transportation in their Fort Worth District Office and over eleven years in the private sector as a Civil Engineer. He is currently employed with Dannenbaum Engineers in their Fort Worth Office as the Transportation Unit Manager.

Tom and his wife Judy have lived in Hudson Oaks since 1994. They have been married for seventeen years and have three children, David, Rebekah, and Samuel.

Tom is both eager and excited about serving the citizens of Hudson Oaks as a City Council Member. He looks forward to working on the Council to make Hudson Oaks a better and more enjoyable place to live.

Tom was elected to City Council Place 4 of the City of Hudson Oaks in May of 2001 and is currently Mayor Pro-Tem. Tom has been employed with Lockheed Martin for twenty years and currently a project manager on the new strike fighter. Tom holds a Masters degree from Dallas Baptist University. Tom has lived in City of Hudson Oaks for sixteen years with his wife Gail and their two children.
