In May of 2007, Councilmember Paula Wigley was elected to Place 5 of the Hudson Oaks City Council.
She graduated from Southwest High School in Fort Worth in 1981. After receiving a Bachelor of Business Administration in Economics and Finance from Texas Wesleyan University, she spent fourteen years in the private sector working for companies such as General Dynamics, Rediffusion Flight Simulation, Inc. and GTE. She is now a small business owner and has been for six years.
Paula has been married to her husband, John Wigley, a native of Cooper Texas, for twenty years. Like many people in the area, he works at Lockheed Martin in Business Management assigned to the F-35 program. She has two sons, one who is a sophomore at Aledo High School and the other who is in the 7th grade at Aledo Middle School. The Wigley family has lived in Hudson Oaks for almost thirteen years.

Councilmember Dan David joined the City Council in May of 2007, filling an unexpired term for Place 3.

Dan was born and raised in East Texas and is proud to be a fifth generation Texan. After receiving a Bachelor of Science from Stephen F. Austin State University in 1969, he enrolled in the United States Air Force.

Bill Young joined the City Council In 2006. He was born and raised in Midland, Texas and is a fifth generation Texan.

He is a graduate of Lee High School in Midland and earned a Bachelor of Science degree from West Texas State University in Canyon. He served as an Officer of Kappa Alpha Order, President of the Intrerfraternity Council, was designated a Distinguished Military Student, and was a member of Scabbard and Blade, the National Military Honor Society. Bill continued his education at the University of Texas at Austin.

Young served in the U. S. Army as a Combat Arms Commissioned Officer (Armor) assigned to the First Armored Division. He has been employed in state and municipal government with the Texas State Comptroller’s Office and with the City of Hurst. He was employed as the Materials Management Administration Supervisor and member of the Project Procedures Review Committee at the South Texas Nuclear Project. Additionally Bill has worked in the aerospace industry as a PQA Engineer and with the United States Department of Defense National Imagery and Mapping Agency.

Tom Marquardt was elected as City Council Member, Place 1 in May 2006.

Tom was born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas. He graduated from Texas A&M University in 1985, with a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering. He later graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington in 1993, with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
