Rates, Fees and Service Charges

Water Rates for the City of Hudson Oaks and our external water systems are adopted by the City Council.  For questions about your bill or how the rate structure is calculated please call City Hall at 682-229-2400.

1.00 inch meter $  60.00
1.50 inch meter $  88.00
2.00 inch meter $175.00
3.00 inch meter $200.00

 USAGE CHARGES - Consumption (Hudson Oaks Water System)

0 to 10,000 $ 3.15 per 1,000 gallons
10,001 to 30,000 $ 4.00 per 1,000 gallons
30,001 or above $ 4.50 per 1,000 gallons

0.75 inch meter $  52.00
1.00 inch meter $  73.00
 

 

 USAGE CHARGES - Consumption (Dyegard)

0 to 10,000 $ 3.31 per 1,000 gallons
10,001 to 30,000 $ 4.20 per 1,000 gallons
30,001 or above $ 4.72 per 1,000 gallons

 

 

How is my bill calculated:

In general, a customer with a 0.75 inch meter in the Hudson Oaks Water System consuming 10,000 gallons of water per billing cycle would be charged the following:

Meter Charge = $ 33.00

Consumption Charge = ((10,000/1,000)*$3.15)=31.50

Trash Service = $ 13.82

Total Utility Bill = $ 78.32

 

New customers, or customers wishing to transfer existing service must pay a $40.00 Administrative Service Fee before the service request can be completed.
