Pay Court Fines Now to Avoid Arrest

If you have outstanding fines with the City of Hudson Oaks Municipal Court, your time to pay them is running out. Arrests will be made and unpaid fines will be collected during a statewide warrant roundup scheduled this spring.

The City of Hudson Oaks currently has 2,151 outstanding warrants valued at $571,316.

The City of Hudson Oaks Municipal Court and Police Department will join forces with more than 200 law enforcement agencies across the state for the Great Texas Warrant Roundup of 2010.

The municipal court staff is working with those who have not paid fines by extending the court’s hours of operation in the coming weeks. Regular business hours for the court are 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday-Friday. For the next two weeks, the City will offer extended court hours on Tuesdays (February 23 and March 2), from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. The court will also be open on two upcoming Saturdays, February 27 and March 6 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. to offer additional opportunities for people to take care of their fines. The municipal court is located in Hudson Oaks City Hall at 210 N. Lakeshore Drive, just two blocks north of the intersection of Lakeshore Drive and US 180.

Once the warrant roundup begins, people with unpaid fines WILL be arrested. Police will go to homes, places of work, or wherever they think they might find those who have avoided their responsibility to the court. So anyone with outstanding warrants should take advantage of the court’s extended hours and pay their fines immediately.
