Posted April 28th, 2008The May 10, 2008 General Election will contain the local option election to allow the sale of beer and wine only for off premise consumption. The election will only impact those portions of the City that are currently "dry."
Both early voting and election day will take place in the Council Chambers of Hudson Oaks City Hall, located in the portable building at 150 North Oakridge Drive, Hudson Oaks, TX 76087.

Upper Trinity Groundwater Conservation District
Posted December 1st, 2008Mayor Pat Deen sent a letter to all Hudson Oaks residents with information regarding the Upper Trinity Groundwater Conservation District (UTGCD) and the fee being passed on to Hudson Oaks water customers. Attached is additional information the Mayor wished to provide, including a press release from State Representative Phil King, a letter from State Representative Phil King to the UTGCD Board, a letter to the editor written by Senator Craig Estes, and Mayor Deen's letter to water customers.

City Hires New City Administrator
Posted November 19th, 2008Sheri Campbell-Husband became the 6th City Administrator for the City of Hudson Oaks on November 13, 2008. Sheri came from the City of Burleson and holds multiple degrees, including a master's of public administration from the University of Texas at Arlington. City Offices Closed in Observance of Veterans Day
Posted November 10th, 2008The City of Hudson Oaks will be closed on Tuesday, November 11, 2008 in observance of Veterans Day. City Offices will reopen on Wednesday, November 12, 2008.
Judge Riley to Attend October 23rd Council Meeting
Posted October 16th, 2008Parker County Judge Mark Riley will attend the October 23, 2008 City Council Meeting to discuss the Transportation Bond that goes before voters in November. The meeting will be held at the new Hudson Oaks City Hall located at 210 North Lakeshore Drive at 7 PM. National Night Out October 7th
Posted October 1st, 2008Come out and join the City of Hudson Oaks Police Department for National Night Out on Tuesday, October 7th at Lakeshore Baptist Church. The Parking lot will be filled with kids activities, bounce houses, free food, and safety demonstrations. In participation with the Hudson Oaks Emergency Services District (PCESD#3) fire personnel and apparatuses will be onsite, along with a PHI Medevac Helicopter.
The goal of National Night Out is to heighten crime and drug prevention awareness, build support and participation in local anti-crime programs and, most importantly, send a message to criminals that our neighborhoods are organized and fighting back. It’s also the perfect opportunity to get to know your neighbors even better.

Heavy Rain Anticipated from Hurricane Ike
Posted September 11th, 2008The possibility of heavy rainfall over the weekend has prompted the City of Hudson Oaks to take precautions by inspecting drainage channels and preparing for the possibility of high water in low lying areas and on roadways. If you witness high water or debris on a roadway please call (682) 229-2426 or in the case of an emergency dial 911.
