At it's June 2007 meeting, the International City Manager's Association (ICMA) Executive Board, formally recognized the City of Hudson Oaks as having established a position of professional management for its appointed executive.

What this means for the citizens of Hudson Oaks is that they can rest assured that the City Administrator is in the best position to implement Council policy, and to manage the day to day operations of the City in the most efficient and effective manner possible at this time. It also means that the City Council is free to focus on the big picture items and the creation of strategic vision and policy formation.
