Stage 2 Water Conservation

Due to continuing drought conditions, low lake levels, and contractual requirements with our surface water provider; the City of Hudson Oaks is moving to Stage 2 of our water conservation plan.  Stage 2 limits outdoor irrigation to two days per week.

Effective immediately, residential customers with addresses ending in an odd number (1,3,5,7,9) may only water on Wednesday and Saturday.  Residential addresses ending in an even number (0,2,4,6,8) may only water on Thursday and Sunday.  Commercial customers may only water on Tuesday and Friday.   As a reminder, daytime watering is prohibited between the hours of 10am-6pm and hose end watering and soaker hose use may occur any day of the week.

If new landscaping is installed, residents or builders may request a 30 day waiver to allow for plant establishment by contacting city hall at 682-229-2400.  For tips on drought resistant plants and water conservation click here.
