If your ticket is in warrant you may pay the Municipal Court in full, or post a cash bond. A cash bond will allow you to see the judge.
If you need to make payments you may contact the collection agency Municipal Services Bureau. The collection agency will allow you to pay in the following methods:
Check over the phone or by mail
Credit Card over the phone
Money Order by mail

You have 21 straight days from the day you recieve your ticket to pay in full.
- How can I pay my ticket?
You can mail a check or money order to the Municipal Court. You can pay in person with cash, check or money order.
- Can I get an extension on my ticket?
You must request an extenstion in person on or before the 30th day from the date your citation was issued. The court clerk will process an Extension Order, and your payment in full will be required within the 30th day after your acceptance (by signature) of the Order.
If you are unable to pay your ticket in full by the deadline identified on the Extension Order you must appear in person before the date payment is due to request a court date be set to speak with the judge for additional time to pay.
If you do not pay and you do not appear to request the court date, $25.00 will be added to the fines owed, and a capias pro fine warrant will be issued.
- Can my ticket be dismissed?
*Expired Motor Vehicle Inspection (Exp. MVI): If your motor vehicle Inspection has been expired less than 60 days and is renewed within 11 days from the date you receive the citation, it will be dismissed for a $20.00 dismissal fee with proof provided to the Court that the vehicle passed inspection. If it is expired more than 60 days you must pay the fines or you can set the case for Court.
Expired Motor Vehicle Registration (Exp MVR): If your motor vehicle registration sticker has been expired for less than 60 days it can be dismissed for a $20.00 fee with proof that you paid additional fees to State. You may also pay your fines or set the case for Court.
Driver's License: No DL or No Valid DL: You will be required to pay the fines or set your case for Court.
- How do I contest a ticket?
In order to contest your ticket you must contact the court either in person or in writing to request a court date. You will be notified of your court date when you appear, or by return mail. The notification will be sent to the address you provided to the police officer at the time you were written the citation. If you want notification to be sent to a different address, you will need notify us in writing of the address correction, sign the request and date the request.
